This was a funny birth story! Mom and dad live in Ft. Worth, but were planning to drive up to Denton to the famous Dr. C for her VBA2C. I received a text during early labor and was told that they weren’t leaving yet, but that I could head on up to the hospital when I heard from them again. Well, the next call I got was from the doula telling me there was a change of plans and that I needed to come quickly to her home instead. I RACED to her house only to find that I missed the birth! :-( Since they weren’t going to be able to make it to the hospital the doula had called a MW to come assist and she missed it as well! Definitely not the kind of VBA2C you hear about very often! :-)
