This little one was born on the same day as Isaac, so that was fun!  I was super impressed with this particular midwife because after Deanna was born she was given right to her mommy and the warmer was brought over to the bed and positioned over them so she would stay nice and toasty.  Sometimes I see babies being placed under the warmers all the way on the other side of the room and this was a much kinder option for both of them!  It doesn’t make much sense to seperate the two of them so quickly after birth when her mom is all she really knows, does it?

This is Isaac.  His family is very special to me and although I don’t know them well I could really go on and on about how attached I am to them!  His big sister was born about 19 months ago when I was pregnant with my little Eden.  When his mom was in labor with her I sat on the bathroom floor and as I watched her I contracted as well.  I guess that is enough to make me bond with someone!  :-)  When I found out she was pregnant again I was sooo happy and thrilled that they asked me to be there with them again!  She went about a week past her due date, but when he decided to come it was quick and beautiful.  He was born in the bathtub and his daddy did an *amazing* job of being the baby catcher!  It was truly moving and I am so glad that I got to be there.

I have been a bad blogger lately, nothing has been added in over a month!  I’m going to try to get pictures from my 5 most recent births up today, but before I move on to the next post I just want to say what amazing births these were!  This mom did such a great job during her pregnancy!  She carried these baby boys up until one day before her due date and then was able to birth them safely at home despite “Baby A” being breech!   After they had both been delivered they went straight into moms arms and never had to be seperated from her or each other.  What a blessing that was to all of them!
